KENTUCKY FIGHTING CHALLENGE # 65 ( HALL OF FAME AWARDS AND MMA FIGHTS )
On Aug. 21, 2010 we will be having our second HALL OF FAME AWARDS night. The location will be Somerset Ky. at the Center For Rural Developement. The doors will open at 6:00 P.M. the inductions will start at 7:00 P.M. and at 8:00 P.M. the fights will start. This will also mark the 7 th. year of Kentucky Fighting Challenge bringing MMA fighting to Kentucky.We would like to see this be as great as the 1 st. HALL OF FAME night last Aug. We will be posting the people who are to be inducted in the next couple of weeks. We would like all of you Promoters and MMA fighters to come and show your support for the new inductees. We are looking for all AMATEUR MMA fighters who would like to fight on this card to contact us ASAP so we can have you on the card at this history making night. Kevin: All fighters are put up for the awards by the promoter they fight for. A fighter must be in MMA as a fighter for at 3 years or more,or retired and still is active as a trainer or Ref. or some other position supporting MMA fighting. Thanks for the question. This event is a pro-am event. We have sighned Jerry Burns to fight Mike Walbright. This will be a classic battle as the last time they fought Jerry won on a stopage that many fans thought was premature. This should be a great fight.
