Gladiator Fighting Championships VI

I especially want to thank Eddie & Anthony trotter as well as all the fighters for presenting me with the GNP 6-string, signed by all the fighters! This is a gift I will treasure for years to come. I was both shocked and honored to be presented with it and words can not express how grateful I am. THANKS GFC!

GFC VI was an awesome night of fights and this will surely be a DVD for any fans collection, If you missed this event you missed one of the largest and most action packed MMA events to date.

I want to thank the Trotters for making us feel at home and taking great care of GNP as always, I want to thank all the fighters for stepping in the cage making for an awesome night of fights and I want to thank the fans who came out to support the GFC and all the fighters.

Congrats to Brandon Blair on winning the GNP Fighter Of The Night & to Greg Maynard on winning the Gladiator Fighting Championships Fighter Of The Night as well as all the other warriors who won their battles.

Bobby Strouth VS Greg Swartz
ROUND 1: Bobby controls the begriming of the round landing a few leg kicks and then several knees from the clinch before taking the fight to the ground, Greg threw a few wild shots but none that connected causing any damage. After the fight goes to the ground Bobby steps over to full mount and hammers in a couple shots to the head and then Greg rolls and reverses control putting Bobby on his back, as soon as Bobby is on his back he begins working for a triangle which he transitions into an arm bar and then rolls out to fully extend his body, seconds later Greg is forced to tap giving Bobby the submission victory.

Jon Lee Cortes VS Robert Alfaro (Kick Boxing)
ROUND 1: Both fighters come out swinging for the fences and each connects with their fair share of shots to the head. Jon Lee also connects with a few kicks to the body and legs as the fighters provide an action packed first round with Jon Lee scoring with more shots and pushing the pace and in my opinion taking round 1.
ROUND 2: Robert comes out gunning for Jon Lee landing several shots to the head to kick off round 2, Jon Lee takes a few seconds to warm up but is soon landing reverse kicks, uppercuts and a few straight shots to the head as both fighters continue with the action packed bout. Robert seems to set the pace of round 2 until about mid round when Jon Lee connects with a couple spinning reverse kicks to the head that connect rocking Robert and slowing his attack and finishing round 2 making this one a draw
ROUND 3: As the final round gets under way Jon Lee comes out taking charge of the fight landing several kicks and shots to the head, Robert returns a few shots but it is Jon Lee pushing the limits landing spinning back fists, kicks to the legs and body and several shots to the head. Jon Lee continues to come in landing shots and Robert clinches up to stop them, Robert attacks back with a final flurry of shots near the end of round 3 but it is not enough to finish the fight and as the bell sounds the decision goes to the judges.

Gerald Chaney VS Vernon Hensly (Boxing)
ROUND 1: Gerald comes out connecting first with a few shots to the head, Vernon fires back and drives in shots pushing Gerald against the cage. Gerald comes off the cage firing in shots to the head and body and presses Vernon against the cage where he continues to pound in shots to the head and body until the ref stops the fight giving Gerald the TKO victory.

Donny Greathouse VS Steve Layne (Grappling)
ROUND 1: The fighters tie up and work for control looking for the take down but after a few seconds neither is able and they separate to try again. The fighters circle a bit and DOnny shoots in scoring a double leg take down putting Steve on his back, after several seconds of a stalemate the ref stands the fighters to restart the action. The fighters tie up again and push off then Steve comes in with his head low, Donny slaps on a guillotine choke and jumps up locking in guard and pulling Steve to the mat, a few seconds later Steve is forced to tap to the choke giving Donny the victory via submission

Trenton Maynard VS Johnathon Jackson
ROUND 1: The fighters circle and Trenton scores a take down and begins to hammer in shots to the head Johnathon throws a couple shots from below and then grabs tight to prevent taking anymore shots. Trenton breaks free a couple times and postures up hammering in shots to the head but after a short lull in the action the ref stands the fighters to get the action going again. Johnathon swings and misses, the fighters clinch and exchange a few knees they separate and then Johnathon comes in landing a few shots and they clinch up exchanging a few more head shots and knees to the body. Trenton pushes out of the clinch and moves back in taking Johnathon to the ground ending in his guard where he hammers in several shots to the head to finish off round 1.
ROUND 2: Johnathon comes in swinging and the fighters begin to exchange shots and then end in a clinch on the cage, Trenton takes Johnathon comes in swinging.to the ground, mounts him and begins the GROUNDNPOUND until Johnathon comes in swinging.taps to the strikes giving Trenton the TKO victory.

Andrew Yeary VS Tony Fisher (Grappling)
ROUND 1: The fighters clinch up and Tony takes Andrew to the mat pulling guard and attempting to lock in a guillotine choke. Andrew pulls his head out and spins into side mount but Tony rolls taking his back and attempts a rear naked choke, Andrew rolls into it putting Tony on his back and begins working for control. After a few seconds Andrew gets free of the guard and takes side control and then steps over to full mount and begins working for arm control, Andrew attempts an arm bar but then jumps back into side control for a few seconds and then back to full mount. Andrew continues working for arm control and Tony is able to reverse it putting Andrew on his back. Andrew rolls out and the fighters work back to their feet in the clinch, Andrew then gets Tony to his back again, takes full mount and attempts to take an arm and roll into an arm bar, in seconds Tony is forced to tap giving Andrew the victory via submission

Shannon Lewis VS Brandy Shell
ROUND 1: Shannon connects first landing several shots to the head, the fighters clinch up and start exchanging shots in an all out slugfest with Shannon pounding in shots to the head and Brandy shots to the body. After several shots are thrown by each fighter they push out and separate, they circle for a few seconds as they catch their breath and then Shannon comes back in clinching up and hammering in several more shots before taking Brandy to the ground. They get right back up to their feet and start to circle for several seconds, Shannon shoots in for a take down, pressing Shannon against the cage just as the bell sounds ending round 1.
ROUND 2: The pace has slowed a bit as round 2 starts, the fighters circle a bit before Shannon comes in swinging, connects with a few shots and takes Brandy to the mat where she hammers in a few more shots to the head before brandy is able to back out and stand as the fighters remain in a clinch. Shannon locks in a head lock and throws a few head shots while Brandy works the body, after several seconds the fighters push out and Shannon comes back in connecting with a couple shots to the head before the fighters clinch back up. They push of and then meet once again in a slugfest with each fighter landing several shots to the head, after a couple seconds they separate and begin to circle with each fighter looking a bit winded. Shannon throws a kick to the body, Brandy answers back with one of her own and then follows up with a few shots to the head just as the bell sounds ending round 2.
ROUND 3: The fighter meet center ring and begin to slug it out with each landing several shots, after a few seconds the separate and begin to circle. They finish out round 3 with a slower pace than the rest of the fight with both fighters landing the occasional kick to the body and head shot but no major damage is caused as both fighters seem to have drained themselves in rounds 1 and 2 in a awesome battle where both girls have proved themselves to be true MMA gladiators.

Brad Bond VS Aaron York
ROUND 1: Aaron lands first and then Brad shoots in pushing the fight against the cage, Aaron attempts to lock in a guillotine choke and falls to the mat pulling guard. After several seconds BRad is able to get his head free and hammers in a couple shots to the head before Aaron turns into north south position with his back against the cage. The fighters get to their feet, Aaron attempts to drive in a single leg take down but Brad defends landing a couple knees to the face and shots to the body. The fighters separate and Brad comes back in swinging but the fighters end in a clinch, after a few seconds it goes to the mat with Aaron having a side head lock on Brad who is also eating several shots to the face. Brad is able to pull his head free and immediately jumps on Aaron's back locking in a rear naked choke and in seconds forces Aaron to tap to the submission

Jack Ward VS Scottie Little
ROUND 1: Jack shoots in and scoop slams Scottie to the mat hard, Scottie catches him in a guillotine on the way down and Jack spends the next several seconds attempting to break free of the choke throwing shots to the head. Once free Jack takes full mount and begins to drop elbows and big shots to the head but Scottie is able to turn into the mount and reverse the position putting Jack on his back. Scottie is trapped in Jack's guard and Jack is holding him in tight to prevent any striking, just as Scottie pulls free to start his offence the bell sounds ending round 1.
ROUND 2: Scottie comes in and swings, jack ducks under and again picks him up for a big slam putting him on his back and ending in side control. Jack begins to hammer in the GROUNDNPOUND and does not let up until Scottie is forced to tap to the strikes giving Jack the TKO victory.

Ricky Conley VS Zach McCoy
ROUND 1: Ricky comes in and lands a flurry of shots to the head, Zach attempts to strike back but is unable to get through Ricky's strikes to do so, Ricky then throws a roundhouse kick to the head and then shoots in taking Zach to the mat and ending in full mount. Zach holds Ricky in tight to prevent the striking but Ricky is able to posture up and drop a couple solid elbows before taking control of an arm and spinning into an arm bar causing Zach to tap giving Ricky the submission victory.

Dean Hamilton VS Luke Moody
ROUND 1: Luke swings first and Dean fires back with a few of his own, Luke clinches up and attempts to bring Dean to the mat but Dean is able to control his balance and spin around taking Luke's back and slaps on a rear naked choke, falls back locking it in and cranks away. Luke attempts to get free but is forced to tap giving Dean the submission victory.

Brandon Blair VS Larry Looney
ROUND 1: Larry takes the fight to the ground and drops a few shots to the head, Brandon reverses but the fighters make it back to their feet where Larry again takes Brandon to the ground and lands a few more shots to the head. After a few seconds Brandon reverses once again putting Larry on his back and then unleashes several shots to the head and body before taking full mount and continuing with a barrage of shots to the head causing Larry to give up his back, Brandon takes his back and lands a few more shots to the head before Larry is able to turn out and get to his knees but Brandon lands an illegal knee to the head and the ref separates the fighters and gives Va warning. Brandon comes back in taking Larry to the ground and begins to start hammering in more shots to the head as the bell sounds ending round 1.
ROUND 2: The fighters meet center ring and begin to slug it out exchanging several shots to the head and a couple knees. Larry connects with a solid knee to the head that rocks Brandon but Brandon circles out and steps back to regain his senses. Larry closes in, lands another knee to the head and then a spinning back fist. The fighters circle a bit each landing the odd jab and then from nowhere Brandon connects with a shot that drops Larry to the canvas Brandon rushes in but Larry has made it back to his feet, Brandon catches him in a guillotine and drops to the mat pulling guard and taking the fight back to the ground. Larry gets his head free but doesnt throw any strikes, Brandon lands a few from the bottom but after several seconds the ref stands the fighters to restart the action. The fighters meet center ring and Brandon catches Larry with a solid knee to the face that puts him on the mat, just as Brandon attempts to finish the fight the bell sounds ending round 2.
ROUND 3: Brandon comes out swinging for the fences and connects with a few shots followed up with a knee to the face, Larry attempts to drive in a take down but Brandon defends and the fighters end up in a north south position on their knees. Brandon hammers in a few shots to the body and then attempts to lock in a guillotine but Larry is able to get his head free, Brandon turns giving up his back and Larry attempts to sink a rear naked choke but is unable to lock it in and after a few seconds Brandon is able to roll out reversing position and putting Larry on his back. Brandon hammers in a few shots to the head but the bell sounds sending the fight to the judges

ROUND 1: Bones swings and Jason ducks under taking him to the ground, Bones attempts to lock in a guillotine as the fighters work for control on the ground but after a few seconds Jason is able to pull his head free and hammer in a few shots to the head before Bones ties him up restricting the blows. Bones works his way to his feet and from the clinch scores a waist lock slam putting Jason on his back and hammers in a few shots to the body, Jason attempts to turn into and roll Bones over but ends up giving up his back, Bones takes back control and locks in a rear naked choke and forces Jason to tap giving Bones the submission victory.

AJ Agazarm VS Danny Jenkins
ROUND 1: Danny comes in swinging but AJ ducks under and answers back with a few shots of his own, the fighters clinch up and AJ hammers in a few shots to the head as he works to get Danny to the ground, Danny is able to stay on his feet using the cage to help hold him up and AJ picks him up to slam him to the mat. Danny starts working a guillotine and works back to his feet but AJ grabs a leg and scores a take down that puts Danny on his belly, AJ immediately takes his back locking in a rear naked choke and in seconds Danny is forced to tap giving AJ the submission victory.

ROUND 1: The fighters circle, Eliz comes in and connects with a shot that starts Aaron backing up, Eliz keeps closing and catches him with a few more shots backing him up against the cage where he hammers in a few more shots to the head. Eliz locks in a standing guillotine and in seconds Aaron taps pointing to his arm as if it has become injured in some way giving Eliz the submission victory.

Hershel Layne VS Mike Slone
ROUND 1: Hershel throws a couple leg kicks and then shoots in for a take down, Mike attempts to lock in a guillotine but Hershel takes a leg and gets him to the ground. The fighters roll and Hershel ends up on top, they work back to their feet but this time its Hershel locking in a guillotine, Mike hammers in a couple shots to the body and the fighters push off separating and squaring off to restart the action. Hershel closes in and scores a take down ending in side mount, Mike tries to roll free but gives up his back and Hershel jumps on locking in a rear naked choke, Mike rolls out and Hershel slaps on a guillotine choke and ends up getting Mike in his guard, seconds later Mike is forced to tap giving Hershel the submission victory.

ROUND 1: Billy comes in swinging, backing Sean against the cage and then attempts to lock in a guillotine choke. Sean takes him to the mat and begins working to get his head free, once free he hammers in a shot to the head and then stands bringing the fight back to their feet. The fighters meet center ring, exchange a few shots and then Sean attempts to lock in a guillotine as Billy starts working to score a take down. Billy gets a heel trip putting Sean on his back and breaks free of the choke but Sean immediately starts working a high guard trying to trap an arm and head in a triangle, Billy picks Sean up slamming to get free of the arm lock and then jumps back into Sean's guard, after a couple seconds Sean works his legs up again and traps Billy in a triangle forcing him to tap giving Sean the submission victory.

Andy Chaffins VS Josh Mays
ROUND 1: The fighters meet center ring and begin to slug it out, after each fighter scores several shots to the head Andy takes the fight to the ground and takes full mount, Josh holds tight to prevent the striking but Andy is able to get free a couple times and hammer in a few shots to the head. Andy is able to stay in the mount most of the round hammering in shots to the head, Josh tries to keep locking him up but is eating several shots until he is able to roll out and bring the fight back to their feet where they clinch against the cage where Andy gets a head lock and scores a hip toss take down just as the bell sounds ending round 1.
ROUND 2: The fighters touch gloves and Andy comes in scoring a scoop slam take down and ends in side control, Josh locks in a guillotine and attempts to secure the choke and hold Andy in close but Andy is eventually able to get his head free and begins to work for control on the ground. After a few seconds the fighters work back to their feet. Andy lands a couple knees from the clinch and then takes the fight back to the ground where they finish out round 2 working for control.
ROUND 3: Josh comes in landing a kick to the body and a shot to the head, Andy clinches up and picks up Josh slamming him to the mat again bringing the fight back to the ground. Andy moves Josh against the cage and starts hammering in shots to the body as Josh attempts to work into position for an arm bar but Andy pulls free and gets back in his guard and continues to work for control on the ground. After a few seconds of a stale mate the ref stands the fighters to restart the action, Josh comes in swinging and Andy ducks under shooting and taking the fight back to the ground just as the bell sounds and sends the fight to the judges.

Dustin Pennington VS Greg Robbinson
ROUND 1: The fighters touch gloves and Dustin comes in swinging, after a few landed shots the fighters clinch up and Dustin lands a couple knees to the body and then pushes off and comes back in landing several shots to the head, Greg answers back as the fighters slug it out center ring and then separate to and circle before restarting the action Greg scores a leg kick that sends Dustin to the ground, Greg closes in to finish but Dustin is able to turn taking his back and attempting to sink a rear naked choke, Greg turns out putting Dustin on his back, Dustin attempts to lock in a triangle but Greg is able to get back into his guard, Dustin then reverses putting Greg on his back where he starts hammering in shots and continues to do so until the ref steps in and stops the fight giving Dustin the TKO victory.

Adam Mays VS Grant Heppel
ROUND 1: Grant starts off the action with a high kick that misses, the fighters circle and Adam shoots in taking the fight to the ground landing on top, Adam hammers in shots to the head and body as Grant returns a few shots to the head while trying to control Adam's arms and prevent the striking. Adam takes side control and hammers in a few elbows before Grant is able to work back to his feet, Adam then attempts to lock in a guillotine and pulls guard taking the fight back to the ground but Grant pulled free and starts hammering in shots to the head. Adam eats several shots to the head before attempting an arm bar that fails and then rolls giving up his back, Grant sits on top hammering in more shots to the side of the head where he finishes out round 1 in total control.
ROUND 2: Grant connects with a kick to the head and Adam drops in getting a single leg and taking the fight to the ground. Grant sprawls out and hammers in several shots to the head as Adam keeps driving for the take down putting Grant against the cage where he is able to use the cage to get back to his feet. Grant hammers in a couple more shots to the head as Adam shoots in for a take down again, as Grant sprawls out Adam rolls over to his back and attempts to pull guard bringing the fight to the ground. Grant drops several more shots to the head before backing out and standing bringing the fight back to their feet, both fighters swing for the fences with a few missed shots before Grant takes a leg putting Adam on his back once again and drives in a few more shots before Adam locks in an arm bar and rolls out forcing Grant to tap giving Adam the submission victory.

ROUND 1: Gary connects with a couple high kicks causing Sam to close in and clinch, Sam then attempts to take the fight to the ground but ends up on his back with Gary landing in full mount, Gary postures up and begins hammering in shots to the head, Sam attempts to roll free but gives up his back where Gary slaps on a rear naked choke and rolls into position causing Sam to tap giving Gary the TKO victory.

Jason Wolfe VS Bryan Minks
ROUND 1: Jason throws a leg kick and then shoots, Bryan sprawls out and lands a couple shots to the body and the fighters separate getting back to their feet, Bryan then comes in swinging and Jason drops shooting in and takes the fight to the ground putting Bryan on his back. Bryan holds tight to prevent the striking but Jason is still able to land several shots to the body and a few to the head, after a few seconds of the action slowing down the ref stands the fighters to restart the action. Bryan throws a few short jabs and then Jason gets a waist lock and takes the fight back to the ground putting Bryan on his back, Jason hammers in a few more shots to the body but Bryan has a tight grip and prevents much striking as they finish out round 1.
ROUND 2: The fighters circle and then clinch, Jason lands a knee to the body and Bryan pushes out and they continue to circle. Bryan swings , Jason ducks under and shoots taking Bryan back to the ground and ending up on top, Bryan has him tied up again but Jason is able to land several shots to the body and a few to the head before the ref stands the fighters. Bryan throws a few jabs that connect and the fighters clinch up, Jason drops down taking a leg and putting Bryan on his back again, this time Jason attempts to spin around and take Bryan's back but Bryan reverses putting Jason on his back for a change. Bryan lands a few shots to the head before Jason turns him reversing control again and ending in full mount Bryan has a tight grip and prevents any striking as the bell sounds ending round 2.
ROUND 3: The fighters circle, Bryan comes in and lands a shot to the head and they separate, Jason comes back in and the fighters exchange a couple shots before clinching up where Jason throws a couple knees to the body and the fight goes to the ground with Bryan landing on top. Jason holds him in close to prevent the striking but after a few seconds Bryan is able to posture up and hammer in a few shots before Jason pulls him back in tight, a few seconds later the ref stands the fighters to get the action going and they near the end of the final round. Bryan swings and Jason shoots taking Bryan to the mat yet again, Bryan throws a couple shots from the bottom as he also holds Jason in tight as the bell sounds ending the fight and sending it to the judges.

Greg Maynard VS Justin Prater
ROUND 1: Greg lands a leg kick and then muscles Justin to the ground, Greg closes in and begins driving in shots to the head causing Justin to turn giving up his back, Greg jumps on attempting to sink a rear naked choke but Justin is able to roll out and the fighters get back to their feet in the clinch. Greg pushes off and drives in a couple shots to the head and a leg kick, the separate and Greg comes back in landing a few more shots and then backing out. Greg keeps coming in driving in solid shots to the head and a couple leg kicks, after several shots the ref calls a time out to check a cut on Justin and the fight continues. Greg comes back in landing several solid shots to the head and after about 5 or 6 of them Justin verbally taps to the strikes giving Greg the TKO victory.

ROUND 1: The fighters meet center ring and begin to exchange shots to the head, Brandon clinches up and falls back taking the fight to the ground but ending up on the bottom, Brandon hammers in several shots to the body and a few to the head but Mike has him pulled in tight to prevent to much damage. Mike sweeps reversing position and ending in full mount, after a few seconds Mike postures up and hammers in several solid shots to the head causing Brandon to give up his back, Mike hammers in a few more shots and Brandon's corner throws in the towel giving Mike the TKO victory.

ROUND 1: The fighters meet center ring and begin to exchange shots to the head, they clinch up and John pushes out landing a few more shots to the head and a knee that rocks Parnell, John then closes in for the kill pounding Parnell down to the mat and continues to pound away until the ref stops the fight giving John the TKO victory.

ROUND 1: The fighters circle a bit and then Glenn comes in, clinches up and takes Scott to the mat, Scott attempts to work a guillotine choke but Glenn takes side mount and is able to work his head free and the fighters work back to their feet. Glenn takes Scott back to the ground and presses him against the cage where he begins to drive in shots to the head before taking full mount and driving in a couple more shots causing Scott to give up his back. Glenn drops several more shots to the head to soften Scott up and then slaps on a rear naked choke causing Scott to tap giving Glenn the submission victory.

Adam Sepulveda VS Kelly Craft
ROUND 1: Kelly comes in swinging and the fighters clinch up and begin to exchange shots in the clinch, Kelly drives Adam against the cage using his weight to hold him there and they exchange a few more shots, Kelly delivers a couple foot stomps and after a few seconds the ref separates the fighters to get the action going. Adam lands a couple leg kicks and Kelly closes in to clinch landing a couple shots to the head and pressing Adam against the cage, Kelly then takes the fight to the ground and drives in a couple shots to the body but little action is taking place so the ref stands the fighters just as the bell sounds ending round 1.
ROUND 2: Kelly lands a leg kick and closes in hammering a few shots to the head then clinches up and muscles Adam across the ring and against the cage, Adam drives in several foot stomps in an attempt to get off the cage but Kelly is just using his weight to pin him against the cage so the ref separates the fighters once more and restarts the action. Adam closes in landing several solid shots to the face, Kelly tries to clinch but Adam pushes away and drives in a few more solid shots on the button. Kelly finally gets a hold of Adam and clinches to slow the action, Kelly muscles Adam around the cage for a few seconds and then pushes him off, Adam closes in and drives in a few more solid shots to the head before Kelly clinches up but this time Adam lands a solid knee to the head that drops Kelly to the mat. Kelly has a hold of Adam's feet, Adam is in a seated position and driving in shots to the head, Kelly attempts to move up putting Adam on his back but with no action the ref stands the fighters. Just as Adam starts to close in Kelly verbally submits no longer able to continue giving Adam the TKO victory.

Adam Alanz VS Brent Hunter
ROUND 1: Adam swings first, Brent attempts to shoot for a take down but Adam muscles him to the ground, Adam attempts to work a guillotine from north south position on their knees but after a few seconds Brent is able to get to his feet. Adam drives in a couple knees to the head and then pushes off hammering in a couple shots to the head. Adam closes in landing a few shots to the head, Brent throws a high kick that misses. Adam keeps moving in and landing shots to the head and backing out, Brent keeps throwing looping shots that fall inches short of connecting as the fighters circle. Brent finally connects with a shot that rocks Adam but does nothing to capitalize on it and Adam regains his composure and continues to move forward. The fighters come together in a final exchange both landing a couple shots as the bell sounds ending round 1.
ROUND 2: The fighters meet center ring and begin to exchange Brent lands a kick and one shot to the head before tripping and going to his knees, Adam takes advantage putting him on the mat and begins the GROUNDNPOUND until Brent taps to the strikes giving Adam the TKO victory.

Mathew Yeary VS Derrick Molett
ROUND 1: Derrick comes out swinging, Mathew answers back with a couple leg kicks and the fighters begin to slug it out with an exchange of shots to the head. Mathew presses Derrick against the cage and hammers in several body shots until Derrick circles out and pushes off from the clinch. Derrick lands a shot to the head and Mathew shoots in driving him against the cage again, Derrick then catches him in a guillotine attempt as Mathew tries to pick him up for a slam, after several seconds of a stale mate the ref separates the fighters to restart the action. Mathew shoots in again driving Derrick against the cage, Derrick pushes him off and lands a shot to the head as the fighters begin to circle once more. The fighters clinch up a couple more times exchanging shots and finish off round 1 with Mathew pressing Derrick against the cage.
ROUND 2: The fighters circle and Mathew shoots in, Derrick pushes him off and hammers in a shot to the head but Mathew continues moving forward and clinches pushing Derrick against the cage. Mathew lands a couple knees before Derrick is able to circle off the cage, Derrick then lands a couple shots to the head as Mathew throws a kick to the body which Derrick catches and attempts to take Mathew to the ground. Mathew keeps his balance and the fighters clinch up, Mathew attempts a guillotine and then pulls guard taking the fight to the ground but Derrick flips over top of him and the fighters roll looking to gain control. The fighters get back to their feet and Mathew presses Derrick against the cage driving in a few shots to the body, Derrick throws a couple to the head and then eats a big shot to the face that rocks him and he falls to his knees still in the clinch, Mathew then goes for a guillotine but Derrick is able to roll off to the side putting Mathew on his back and starts dropping a couple elbows to the head as he works for control from the top, then the bell sounds ending round 2.
ROUND 3: Derrick swings and misses, Mathew clinches up and lands a solid knee to the head but then slips and eats an uppercut as he falls to his knees. Derrick closes in but Mathew is able to get to his feet and the fighters clinch up, Derrick unloads a couple more uppercuts to the face before they separate and begin to circle in the center of the cage. The fighters throw a couple loose jabs and then Mathew comes in, connects with a shot to the head and clinches up, Derrick pushes Mathew against the cage and they exchange a few knees before Derrick takes a leg pulling Mathew to the ground. Derrick then takes top control and attempts to get free to hammer in a couple shots to the head, Mathew then tries to sink in an arm bar but Derrick just stands and pulls his arm free and drops back down on Mathew landing a couple shots to the head before Mathew ties him up to prevent any striking, with seconds left in the final round the ref stands the fighters to keep the action going and Mathew closes in landing a couple shots to the head as Derrick clinches up and presses him against the cage where the round ends sending the fight to the judges.

Josh Stepp VS Kenny Kretzer
ROUND 1: The fighters touch gloves and Josh comes across hammers in a couple shots to the head and then takes Kenny to the ground landing on top. Kenny holds Josh in tight but Josh is able to land several short punches to the head and body, after several seconds Josh stands in Kenny's guard slamming him back to the mat and continues with the short punches to the body while Kenny holds him in close. Josh then stands breaking his grip and jumps down to side control where he hammers in a few more shots to the head and body before stepping over to full mount where he continues landing shots to the head and body from close range as Kenny holds him in tight to prevent to much damage and there is where they stay until the bell sounds ending round 1.
ROUND 2: Kenny comes in swinging and connects with a shot that rocks Josh sending him to his knees, Kenny closes in catching Josh in a guillotine and Josh picks him up carries him across the ring and rests him against the cage while Kenny pulls a standing guard. Kenny goes down to the mat and still has the choke locked in but Josh is eventually able to get his head free and postures up and starts raining down heavy shots which cause Kenny to tap to the strikes giving Josh the TKO victory.
