Eddie & Anthony Trotter have put an other great show in the books. It was a great night of fights with a packed house there to enjoy the show. Several of the fan favorites were on the card and delivered what the crowd was after..... 100% MAYHEM!

I want to congratulate all the fighters for putting on a great show. GFC has big plans for their future shows so don't miss the next event. Now lets dive in to the action!

Grappling Match

Andrew Yeary DEF Steve Layne
ROUND 1: The fighters clinch up looking for control and Steve pulls guard taking the fight to the mat with Andrew landing in a full mount. Andrew works from the top and moves into side mount, the fighters work their way into the ropes so the ref moves them center ring. Andrew is still controlling the match from top position and working for arm control and suddenly out of nowhere pops on an arm bar, Steve attempts to stand to work himself free but Andrew has it locked in and Steve falls back to the mat trapped in an arm bar and is forced to tap giving Andrew the victory in round 1.

Justin Prater DEF James Allen
ROUND 1: The fighters meet center ring at the bell and start swinging for the fences. James is throwing wild looping haymaker shots and a few are connecting. The fighters work onto the ropes and clinch up, both guys are landing a few shots from the clinch but are mainly looking to gain control and take the fight to the ground. Justin pushes James onto the ropes and works for a takedown, James grabs the ropes to avoid going to the mat and the ref separates the fighters and restarts the action standing. The fighters circle throwing a few punches, Justin is landing a few solid shots while James is throwing wild shots and connects with a couple grazing shots. Justin takes the fight back on the ropes where he grabs a leg and driving through to take James to the ground and working to gain control and finish the fight but the bell rings sending this one into a second round.
ROUND 2: The fighters meet center ring and exchange a few shots, James still throwing wide looping shots but a couple do connect, Justin is taking his time looking for his chance to land making his shots count a little more but both are engaged in a slugfest. They exchange a few more shots as the pace slows a bit and Justin ends up connecting with a few shots that drives James back to a corner, Justin comes in swinging and James turns away giving up his back where Justin attempts a rear naked choke and starts to fall back to sink it in but James grabs the ropes again causing the ref to step in and deduct a point from James and restarts them standing. They exchange a couple shots to the head before Justin drives James onto the ropes and then to the mat landing on top. Justin gains control on the ground and starts hammering in shots to the head until James is forced to tapout giving Justin the victory.

Alex Adkins DEF Justin Cody
ROUND 1: Justin charges in swinging and Alex ducks under, shoots and scores a takedown. The fighters roll and Justin reverses position and then Alex backs out, stands up and picks up Justin dumping him back to the mat once more. Justin reverses once again and then Alex takes him to his back again in a great exchange of of ground control. Alex lands a few shots from the top before Justin reverses control again putting Alex on his back and driving in a few shots of his own. Justin attempts to stand and Alex hangs on going with him un till the fighters are standing once more, Alex scores a great hip toss taking Justin back to the mat, after a few seconds Justin reverses one more time but lands a few illegal elbows so the ref separates the fighters and gives Justin a warning, restarting the fighters standing. Justin shoots in and Alex sprawls out catching him in a guillotine falling back to the mat to sink it in. Just as he starts to sink it in deep the bell sounds ending round 1.
ROUND 2: Alex connects gfc_4 and then shoots in for a takedown, Justin catches a guillotine and falls back to the mat, Alex steps over to full mount and starts hammering in shots to the body trying to get his head free of the choke. After a few more shots Alex is able to pull free and starts to hammer in shots to the head and dropping down some solid elbows to the face. Alex unleashes the GROUNDNPOUND and after several unanswered shots the ref stops the fight giving Alex the win via TKO.

Adam Alaniz DEF Elza Webb
ROUND 1: The fighters meet center ring and Adam connects with a couple of shots that rock Elza causing him to stagger and cover up. Adam attempts to finish the fight but ELza recovers and as the fighters muscle each other around the ring Elza lands a solid shot of his own. Adam pushes the pace backing Elza up firing in jabs and a couple leg kicks, Adam uncorks a solid shot to the head that drops Elza to the mat, Adam jumps in and starts to pound away but the fighters are in the ropes so the ref steps in to move the fighters off the ropes but after checking with Elza he cant continue and Adam gets the win via TKO.

Dustin Walden DEF Joey Howard
ROUND 1: The fighters touch gloves and Dustin comes in swinging, Joey throws a couple shots of his own but neither fighter connect with anything huge. Dustin throws a high roundhouse which causes him to slip and fall, Joey rushes in to take advantage but Dustin is quick to recover and regain his composure. Joey charges in swinging but not landing and then gets a waist lock picking Dustin up and slamming him to the mat. Dustin is on the bottom but has Joey tied up to prevent any striking and after a few seconds starts looking for a submission opportunity, Joey is able to land a few shots to the head and body before Dustin throws his legs up for a triangle, Joey picks up Dustin slamming him to the mat but the choke is still locked in, Joey tries to back out and get free but they start to work into the ropes and onto the judges table so the ref steps in and breaks the fighters restarting it on their feet. The fighters exchange a couple shots before Dustin shoots in and picks up Joey and puts him on the mat, they are in the corner working into the ropes so the ref moves them back center ring and restarts the action. Dustin starts off in full mount but Joey has him held in tight to avoid the GROUNDNPOUND, Dustin raises up with a couple shoulder slams trying to break Joey's grip just as the bell sounds ending round 1.
ROUND 2: Both fighters look ready to go as Dustin throws a shot to the head, a leg kick and then steps in scoring a hip toss throw taking the fight to the ground. Dustin works from the top to gain total control, he drops a couple more shoulder slams before Joey is able to reverse position and put Dustin on his back. Dustin immediately starts working a high guard and from nowhere slaps in a triangle choke, Joey tries to turn and pull out but is forced to tap giving Dustin the win via triangle choke.

Hershel Layne DEF BJ Daniel
ROUND 1: Hershel connects with a leg kick, BJ throws a couple shots but Hershel ducks under and scores a takedown and the fighters land in the ropes. Hershel gains full mount and drops a couple shots to the head causing BJ to turn away giving up his back, Hershel sinks in a rear naked choke and rolls to his back to sink it in deeper, after a few seconds Hershel lets go of the choke and steps over to full mount once again but BJ is able to reverse it putting Hershel on his back and starts raining in a few shots to the head. BJ keeps hammering in shots to the head and the fighters start to work into the ropes so the ref stops the action to reposition the fighters away from the ropes. BJ starts out in Hershel's guard hammering in shots to the head as they move across the mat, Hershel blocks a few but most of the shots being thrown by BJ are finding their mark.
ROUND 2: They meet center ring and exchange several shots and continue to do so for several seconds. Hershel shoots in and starts working a takedown, BJ lands a couple shots to the ribs before Hershel works the shot and scores the takedown. BJ works to his knees and the fighters are locked in a stalemate so the ref separates them and restarts the action standing. they meet center ring and after they both throw a few missed shots Hershel scores a hip toss taking BJ to the mat, Hershel lands in side mount and after a couple seconds steps over to full mount. BJ holds him in tight to prevent striking but Hershel is able to land a few shots anyway. HErshel is able to get free and postures up landing several shots to the head along with a few elbows, the fighters work into the ropes just as the bell sounds ending round 2. BJ is unable to go on in round 3 giving Hershel the TKO victory.

Justin Perry DEF Donney Greathouse
ROUND 1: The fighters circle, Justin throws a jab and shoots scooping up Donney and slamming him to the mat. Donney sinks in a guillotine from the bottom and Justin starts hammering in shots to the body while trying to get his head free from the choke. Justin pulls his head free and moves to side mount with a head lock and starts hammering in shots to the head, Donney tries to scramble free but Justin stays in control landing shots to the head and body. Justin continues to hammer in shots as he steps over to full mount and unleashes the GROUNDNPOUND. The fighters work into the ropes and the ref separates the fighters and restarts them standing. DOnney throws a couple leg kicks that miss and Justin shoots in scoring another scoop slam takedown and landing on top in side control. Donney has a head lock in and Justin hammers in shots to the body while trying to free his head, Justin works his way free and continues to hammer in shots to the body and head causing Donney to give up his back where Justin sinks in a rear naked choke, falling back and applying pressure until Donney is forced to tap.

Sean Beller DEF Andy Chaffins
ROUND 1: The fighters come out and circle for a few seconds before Andy shoots scoring a double leg takedown. Sean controls the fight on the ground holding Andy in a full guard and holding him in close controlling his arms. Sean attempts a triangle but Andy stands picking him up and slamming him to the mat getting out of the choke, Sean tries for another triangle but Andy is able to push through and stays on top where he begins to hammer in shots to the body. Sean holds Andy in tight to prevent the striking and Andy lands a few knees to the body from side control. Sean works Andy into half guard and Andy continues to drop a few body shots while trying to break free to posture up and pound but the bell rings ending round 1.
ROUND 2: The fighters meet center ring and exchange a few shots before clinching up and taking the fight to the corner. Sean sinks in a guillotine and Andy picks him up slamming him to the mat, landing in side control. Andy drops a couple elbows to the head but Sean is controlling his arms, Andy starts working an americana and then steps over to full mount, Sean works his way out of the mount and then reverses control putting Andy on his back. Andy gets back to his knees and Sean hammers a couple shots to the head, both fighters stand as Sean delivers a knee to the head and then they clinch against the ropes. Andy throws a couple knees in the clinch, Sean sinks in a guillotine drops to his back cranking away and in seconds Andy is forced to tap.

Joe Rose DEF Brandon Boyd
ROUND 1: The fighters meet center ring and both swing for the fences but it is Joe who connects dropping Brandon to the mat, Joe rushes in as Brandon is starting to stand and the fighters clinch up where Joe throws a couple knees to the body. The fighters exchange a few big shots in the clinch before Joe pops on a guillotine, falling to his back and after a couple seconds gets the win via submission.

Kenny Moore DEF Mike Preece
ROUND 1: Mike attempts to swing but Kenny ducks under scoring a double leg takedown slamming him into the mat, Mike has control of Kenny's head but Kenny has side mount and is working to free himself. Kenny drops a fe shots to the body and a couple knees to the ribs as he continues to work from side control to free his head. After a few more shots to the body Kenny is able to free his head and immediately goes for an arm bar, falling back into position it is all over except the tap which comes in seconds giving Kenny the win via submission.

Matthew Yeary DEF RIcky Paul
ROUND 1: The fighters touch gloves and RIcky swings gfc_4 missing as Matthew comes in to clinch up and throws several head shots from inside the clinch. Matthew pushes him into the corner and using a waist lock takes Ricky to the mat, Matthew steps over to full mount and lets go with the GROUNDNPOUND causing Ricky to give up his back. Matthew sinks in a rear naked choke and forces Ricky to tap in gaining the victory in seconds.

Josh Stepp DEF Scott Huff
ROUND 1: Scott rushes in with a front kick that gets blocked and then Josh scores a scoop slam taking Scott to the mat. Josh works from side mount to full mount landing a few shots along the way. Josh lands several shots from above as Scott attempts to get free of the mount and is able to back out forcing Josh to take side control where he continues to land shots to the body and head. Josh steps back over to full mount and starts to work a keylock on the arm but doesn't have the proper leverage to pull it off and goes back to side mount. Scott tries to roll out but gets caught with a couple solid knees to the back and ribs. Scott continues to work on getting off the bottom and is finally able to roll over and out putting Josh on his back and ending up in side control. Scott immediately starts working hard to finish the fight, Josh pulls him into his guard but it doesn't slow Scott down one bit as he continues to fire away, the fighters work their way into the ropes and Scott keeps working for the finish as the bell sounds ending round 1.
ROUND 2: The fighters clinch up and it is Josh taking the fight to the ground ending in side control, Josh starts to hammer in shots to the face returning a few of the ones Scott ended round 1 with and then he steps over to full mount. Josh postures up and starts hammering in shots to the head and Scott pulls him back down to prevent the GROUNDNPOUND. Josh keeps pounding in shots as Scott tries to get free rolling from side to side, Josh continues hammering in shots from the mount until the ref steps in to have the doctor check Scott's cut on his face, and the decision to stop the fight is made giving Josh the win via TKO.
